Rhbit

Producer: Massachusetts Institute of Technology

This simulated physiology experiment teaches how simple neural networks function, and demonstrates the principles of neuroscience investigation. Using a simulated frog as a model, with 8 interconnected neurons forming its nervous system, the student gathers data from the neurons, and stimulates and lesions them. The relationships between certain neurons and the sense organs and muscles are to be determined in the practical, along with the relationships between the neurons themselves and the excitatory or inhibitory synapses formed.
