Veterinary Ultrasonography: Small Animal Abdomen

Producer: University of California (UC Davis)

This program was developed to help teach the basic principles of small animal ultrasonography to veterinary students and practitioners. There are 70 cases grouped by organ system to facilitate easy reference. The cases may be viewed sequentially or in a random manner. Overlays are used to identify important ultrasonographic features of normal anatomy and illustrate major pathological conditions. Common ultrasound artifacts may be studied as a group or accessed using linked text from other parts of the program. A multiple choice quiz is provided to teach mastery of the material.
